Breakthrough Promotes Jenny Vander Zanden to COO of Breakthrough Fuel

Breakthrough, a pioneer in the field of transportation energy and information management, is proud to announce Jenny Vander Zanden as chief operating officer of Breakthrough Fuel. Vander Zanden, who currently serves as the vice president of fuel recovery, will assume her new role and responsibilities immediately.

“Throughout her entire career at Breakthrough, Jenny has held a steadfast dedication to providing clients with data-driven results,” said Doug Mueller, CEO and President for Breakthrough. “It is that commitment and passion for the business and clients that have made her an ideal member of the Breakthrough team and will make her an excellent COO.”

With more than 13 years of service at Breakthrough, Vander Zanden began her career as an intern and was the first full-time employee hired by Breakthrough founder Craig Dickman. Over the past decade, she has held a variety of roles ranging from solution design to analytical services and client relations as she advanced throughout the organization.

As the COO of Breakthrough Fuel, Vander Zanden will work to deliver clients distinguished value and services in fuel management. She also will oversee the growth and expansion of Breakthrough’s fuel capabilities in the constantly evolving transportation energy environment.

Vander Zanden received her Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College and earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
