Breakthrough Announces Heather Mueller as COO of Breakthrough Supply Chain

As Breakthrough, a pioneer in the field of transportation energy and information management, continues to grow and expand its service lines, the organization is proud to name Heather Mueller chief operating officer of Breakthrough Supply Chain. She currently serves as the vice president of new client experience and will begin her new role effective immediately.

In the COO role, Heather will work to create data-driven value for clients while simultaneously growing the scope and impact of Breakthrough Supply Chain solutions. The newest addition to Breakthrough’s service offerings, the supply chain business provides clients with end-to-end transportation solutions focused on removing distortion, achieving transparency, and establishing fair relationships for more sustainable transportation capacity sourcing and management.

With more than six years of experience at Breakthrough, Heather has held a variety of roles in marketing, client relations, and business development. In addition to her responsibilities of leading Breakthrough’s supply chain business, she will also continue to oversee the organization’s Applied Knowledge team, which works to deliver market information that drives a more strategic approach into Breakthrough clients’ transportation energy and supply chain management strategies.

Heather earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business and her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
