Breakthrough Promotes Matt Balzola to Vice President of Go To Market

Breakthrough, a pioneer in the field of transportation energy and information management, is proud to announce Matt Balzola as vice president of go to market. Balzola, who most recently served as the vice president of business development, took on his new role and responsibilities in September.

“As we continue to grow and expand Breakthrough, we continuously look for unique perspectives that will enhance both our team and client experience,” said Doug Mueller, CEO and President for Breakthrough. “Matt’s combined sales and marketing background as well as experience at Breakthrough make him uniquely qualified to take on this new role. We are excited to see the impact he will make.”

As the vice president of go to market, Balzola will lead the team as they create and execute marketing and sales strategies. In addition, he will be tasked with enhancing the organization’s presence in the market while continuing to expand Breakthrough’s already strong client base.

Balzola has been with Breakthrough for nearly four years and previously served as the global sales director in addition to vice president of business development. Before joining the Breakthrough team, Balzola gained extensive knowledge and experience in the transportation industry with several national suppliers.

Balzola received his Bachelor of Science in marketing from Northern Michigan University.
