Doug serves as Breakthrough’s CEO and President. Since joining the organization in 2007, Doug has advanced all aspects of the Breakthrough business through his diverse background in energy management, supply chain, and transportation. His career, spanning more than 30 years, is highlighted by successful leadership roles in client development, relationship management, solution design, business transformation, and leading change.

Matt leads the business development and marketing efforts at Breakthrough, bringing transparency to the transportation industry through the introduction of our transportation energy and supply chain solutions. His background in brokerage, logistics, and distribution gives him a unique industry perspective that brings value to each interaction with prospective Breakthrough clients.

Jeremy leads our team of supply chain practitioners, working to improve Breakthrough clients’ supply chain efficiency through transportation strategy development, network performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Prior to joining Breakthrough, Jeremy held leadership roles in Operations and Business Development for several Supply Chain Service & Technology Providers.

Jeff is a self-proclaimed technology junkie who is unashamedly drawn to shiny new objects in high tech. He has remained committed to always finding the intersection of leading-edge technology, business value, progressive techniques, and culture. At Breakthrough, Jeff spends his time igniting technology fueled innovations that drive significant business impact for our clients.

Heather works to create data-driven value for clients while simultaneously growing the scope and impact of our supply chain solutions. In addition, Heather oversees Breakthrough’s Applied Knowledge team, bringing market information to clients that drives a more strategic approach into their transportation energy and supply chain management strategies.

Mark leads Breakthrough’s finance area and is responsible for our T-Fuel service offering. His background includes public accounting and extensive leadership experience in telecommunications, transportation, distribution, and contract packaging. Mark enjoys all of the challenges that come with a growing, thriving business like Breakthrough!

Brad is an integral member of the Breakthrough team, providing enterprise-wide legal counsel and overseeing our global strategy. He also leads the culture function of our business, leading the team that identifies smart, passionate, and edgy talent to add to our ranks.

Elaine pushes Breakthrough’s Technology and Data Science capabilities forward as a continued thought leader in the transportation energy and supply chain sectors. She brings years of technology and application development experience with her as she merges business needs with disruptive technologies to drive pro-active development of world-class solutions.

In her time at Breakthrough, Jenny has grown from Intern to COO of Breakthrough Fuel. She works to deliver distinguished value and service to Breakthrough clients through our fuel service offering portfolio, all while expanding our fuel capabilities in an evolving transportation energy environment and uncovering the data we need to help clients drive forward continuous improvement initiatives.
