Do I need to have a background in transportation or supply chain to work at Breakthrough?

Negative! We hire team members from all different professional backgrounds. Walk in the Breakthrough office, take a quick inventory, and you’ll find a former high school math teacher, physicist, Army veteran, government cyber security guru, and an interior designer. Our team has past experience in industries such as retail, finance, hospitality, and advertising.

Do you have an internship program? When do I apply?

Yes, we have a robust summer internship program each year! Forget the coffee runs and filing projects; our interns are presented with the opportunity to work on real-life business problems or opportunities we are facing and provide us with their best recommendation. We typically start accepting applications in September and hold interviews in the months of October and November (6-7 months prior to the internship), so keep an eye on this Careers page if you’re interested!
