World-class shippers will gather this August at the 2017 Mercury Group to discuss energy industry best practices and how to navigate an ever-changing transportation energy landscape. This is an exclusive, invitation-only event designed to fuel new ideas for our clients as the Breakthrough®Fuel leadership team joins with experts and innovators to brainstorm and swap stories.
Mercury Group will be held August 8 and 9 at the Loews Hotel in downtown Chicago. This year’s theme is How to Navigate When Technology is in the Driver’s Seat. Technology is changing our industry faster now than ever. Truck technologies such as automation through platooning, energy efficiencies including alternative fuels, and advanced data capabilities are creating more complexity – and more opportunity. At this year’s Mercury Group, we will discover how to create a strategy for success as the pace of change accelerates.
“Mercury Group is a place to bring up challenging themes in transportation and supply chain and look at how different organizations are addressing them,” says Vice President of Breakthrough®Experience, Heather Mueller. “Thought leaders and innovators gather to share success stories and new strategies.”
Attendees can expect conversations surrounding the most recent and pressing topics in transportation and energy management. That includes the impact of changes to Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) guidelines and ongoing energy reform in Mexico.
“What you won’t find at Mercury Group are vendors trying to sell you something,” says Mueller. “The goal is to send clients away with actionable insights to improve their transportation energy management.”
The Mercury Group is intended to help shippers develop strategies in an environment where groundbreaking concepts flow freely. Not only do clients learn from Breakthrough®Fuel and their peers, we’ll also gain important insights from you that help us better serve your needs.
